Getting started
What is Pixella?
Pixella is an online AI studio for images and videos. Use it to improve a photo, bring an idea to life in a few minutes or make a video for a one-off task, as well as social posts, ads and product visuals. Pixella Studio brings together 40+ image models, 60+ video models and 74 ready-made templates, and it runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install.
Who is Pixella for?
Pixella is for anyone who wants a good result without learning complex software: people who want to improve a photo, try an idea quickly with AI tools or make a video for a birthday, an event or a presentation. It is also built for small businesses, online stores, marketing agencies, real estate and travel agents, creators and in-house teams who make their own visuals without a designer or video editor.
How is Pixella different from using Veo, Kling or Sora directly?
You get Veo, Kling, Sora, Seedance, Nano Banana and dozens of other models in one place, with one account and one credit balance instead of a separate subscription for each. In Create Video you can run the same prompt on Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0 and Sora 2 and compare the results in your Library. Pixella also adds 74 ready-made templates, a prompt gallery and tools such as Upscale and Background remover, so you go from idea to finished file without switching apps.
Do I need design or video editing skills?
No. Templates already hold the prompt, model and camera settings, so you add one photo or a line of text and press Generate. When you want full control, Create Image and Create Video let you write your own prompt and pick the model.
How do I write a good prompt for an image or video?
Describe what you want to see in plain words: the subject, the setting, the light and the style, for example “a ceramic mug on a wooden table by a window, soft morning light, product photo”. For a video, add the action and the camera move, such as “the camera slowly circles the mug as steam rises”. Keep one idea per prompt and change one detail at a time between runs. For ready-made ideas, open Explore and press Use prompt on any result.
Does Pixella work on my phone?
Yes. Pixella runs in any modern browser on a computer, tablet or phone.
Which file formats does Pixella support?
You can upload images in JPEG, JPG, PNG and WEBP. Videos are created and downloaded in MP4.
Creating images and videos
How do I create an image from text?
Open Create Image in Pixella Studio, describe the picture you want, choose a model and an aspect ratio, and press Generate. Some models also accept a reference photo, so you can edit an existing image instead of starting from scratch.
How do I make a video?
Open Create Video, write a prompt or upload a starting image, choose a video model, the clip length and the aspect ratio, and press Generate. To animate a photo with a ready-made effect, pick a template in Apps instead.
Can I turn a photo into a video?
Yes. Open Create Video, upload your photo as the start frame, describe the motion you want and press Generate. Models such as Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1 and Wan 2.7 turn a still image into a clip with natural motion. For a ready-made effect, choose a template in Apps, for example Freeze and Rewind or Bolt Camera Shot.
Can I set the first and last frame of a video?
Yes, with models that support start and end frames, such as Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1, Seedance 2.0 Fast, Wan 2.7 and LTX 2.5 Fast. In Create Video, choose one of these models, open the Start-end-frame tab, upload the first and the last frame and describe what happens in between. The model creates the motion that connects the two images.
Which AI models can I use?
Pixella gives you 40+ image models and 60+ video models in one place, including Nano Banana Pro, GPT Image 2, Seedream 5.0, Flux 2.0, Ideogram v4, Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1, Sora 2, Seedance 2.0 and Hailuo 2.3. New models are added as they are released. See them all in Create Image and Create Video.
Which model should I choose?
Good starting points: Nano Banana Pro or Seedream 5.0 for realistic photos and product shots, Ideogram or GPT Image for posters and text inside an image, and Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1 or Seedance 2.0 for video with natural motion. Run the same prompt on two models and keep the result you like.
Can I upload my own photo and change it (image-to-image)?
Yes. In Create Image, add your photo with Add references and describe the change, for example “replace the background with a beach at sunset” or “turn it into a watercolor painting”. Models with image input, such as Nano Banana Pro, Nano Banana 2, Seedream 5.0, GPT Image 2 and Flux 2.0, edit the photo you upload. FLUX Kontext Pro and FLUX Kontext Max are made for precise edits of a single source image.
Can Pixella create images with readable text or a logo?
Yes. Choose a model that handles text well, such as Nano Banana Pro, GPT Image 2 or Ideogram v3, and put the exact words in quotes in your prompt, for example a poster with the headline “Summer Sale”. Short text gives the cleanest result. To place your own logo, add the logo file as a reference image and describe where it should appear. For animated text, try the Typography templates.
How do I keep the same character or product across several images or videos?
Use the same reference photo of your character or product every time and keep the key details in your prompt unchanged. Models with multi-image input, such as Nano Banana Pro, Seedream 5.0 and Flux 2.0, take several reference images to keep a face, an outfit or a product consistent. For video, Seedance 2.0 and Seedance 2.5 accept many references at once, up to 50 in Seedance 2.5, and Veo 3.1 works with reference images. You can also create the image first and then use it as the start frame of your video.
Which aspect ratio works for Reels, TikTok and Shorts?
Use 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, 4:5 or 1:1 for feed posts, and 16:9 for YouTube and website banners. Set it before you generate. To change the frame of a finished image, use Resize.
How long can a video be?
It depends on the model. Most video models make clips of 5 to 15 seconds, Seedance 2.5 makes videos of up to 30 seconds, and Veo 3.1 Extend Video continues an existing clip.
Can my video have sound?
Yes. Some video models, such as Veo 3.1 and Sora 2, generate sound together with the video in the same generation. Pixella has no separate tools for adding or editing audio.
What is the maximum resolution? Can I upscale to 4K?
Images go up to 4K with models such as Nano Banana Pro, Nano Banana 2, Seedream 5.0 and Seedream 4.5: set Resolution in the model settings before you generate. Videos go up to 4K with Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0 and Seedance 2.0, while most other video models make 720p or 1080p clips. To enlarge an image you already have, use Upscale at 2x or 4x. To sharpen a video, use Topaz Upscale Video in Create Video.
Can I edit a generated image or video?
Yes. Open the result in your Library and keep working on it. To change an image, describe the edit to a model that accepts a reference image, such as Nano Banana Pro, GPT Image or FLUX Kontext, or run it through Upscale, Resize, Background remover and the photo-fix templates in Edit & Enhance. To change a video, use Kling O3 Video Edit with a prompt or sharpen it with Topaz Upscale Video.
How do I remove a background and get a transparent PNG?
Open Background remover, upload your photo and press Generate. Pixella cuts out the subject and makes the background transparent, so you can download a PNG and place it on any color, banner or product page. It works for product photos, portraits and logos.
What are the requirements for uploaded images (size, resolution)?
Upload images in JPEG, JPG, PNG or WEBP. Use a sharp, well-lit photo where the subject is clearly visible: small, blurry or heavily compressed images give weaker results, so run them through Upscale first. How many images you can add depends on the model, and the generator shows the limit for the model you pick.
Can I run several generations at once?
Yes. Start several prompts one after another without waiting: each generation runs on its own and doesn't interrupt the others. Finished results appear in your Library.
Can I get several variants of one image?
Yes. Some models, such as Nano Banana, let you choose how many images to create from one prompt, up to 4 at a time. Set the number in the generation settings and pick the variant that works best.
How long does a generation take?
Images usually take 30–45 seconds in high quality. Videos take from 60 seconds for a 5-second clip to 5 minutes for a high-resolution video with audio, depending on the model and current load. You can leave the page: finished results appear in your Library.
Templates and Explore
What are Apps?
Apps are 74 ready-made templates, each built for one result: Freeze and Rewind, Bullet Time, Glam Product Ad, Neon Sign and more. The prompt, model and settings are already set, so you only add a photo, a product shot or a line of text.
Which templates are trending right now?
Trending Effects collects short video effects made for Reels and TikTok, such as Bobblehead, Sticker Peel and Explosion Walk Away. Top Picks shows the 20 templates people run most.
What is Explore?
Explore is a gallery of AI videos and images that shows the prompt and model behind each one. Press Use prompt to open it in the generator and make your own version with your product or idea.
Credits and plans
What are credits?
Credits are how Pixella counts generations. Every image, video or template run uses credits, and your balance is always visible in Pixella Studio.
How many credits does a generation use?
It depends on the model, the quality and what you make. Video uses more credits than images, and longer or higher-resolution clips use more than short ones.
What happens when I run out of credits?
Tap your balance number in Pixella Studio and choose Get more credits to top up.
How much does Pixella cost?
The current plans and what each plan includes are listed on the Pricing page.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Left Menu > Settings > Cancel Plan, or contact support by email at support@pixella.ai or by phone at +1 (478) 209-3570. Full rules are in the Subscription Terms.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit cards and debit cards through our secure payment processor.
Using your content
Can I use what I create for my business and ads?
Yes. You can use images and videos made in Pixella in personal and commercial projects, including paid ads, product pages and social media. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload, such as product photos, music or other people's images. See the Terms of Use.
Who owns the images and videos I create?
You own the images and videos you create in Pixella and can use them in personal and commercial projects, as long as you follow the Terms of Use and have the rights to what you upload.
How do I download my results, including on a phone?
Open the result in your Library and press Download. On a computer the file goes to your Downloads folder. On an iPhone the file is saved to the Files app: open it there, tap Share and choose Save Image or Save Video to add it to Photos. On Android the file goes to Downloads and appears in your gallery. Videos download in MP4.
Can I post AI videos on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube?
Yes. Download the file from your Library and upload it like any other video. Instagram, TikTok and YouTube ask creators to label realistic AI-generated content, so turn on the platform's AI label when your video shows realistic people, places or events.
Can I create content for my clients?
Yes. Agencies, freelancers and social media managers can make videos, ads and posts for clients from their own Pixella account. Make sure the client has the rights to the photos and materials you upload for them.
Can I upload photos of other people?
Only with their permission. Do not upload photos of people who have not agreed to it, and do not create content that imitates a real person to mislead others. The full rules are in the Terms of Use.
Do my results have a watermark?
Only images and videos made with a free account have a watermark. With an active subscription your results come without it. See the plans on the Pricing page.

Are my uploads used to train AI models?
No. Photos and text you upload are used only to create your result and are not used to train AI models.
